Company Background / History

INTERMOLDE was founded in Marinha Grande in 1973 in a region with strong traditions in the glass and mould production industries. Due to the technical capacity and the latest technologies that we possess, INTERMOLDE has always been a pioneer in the manufacturing of moulds for the glass industry, consequently we are among the leaders in Europe. INTERMOLDE is specialised in manufacturing all kinds of moulds and accessories for IS Machines. With a total of 140 workers, is capable of producing approximately 3000 cavities per month (36.000 cavities per year) and 7000 neck rings per month (80.000 neck rings per year) as well as many other accessories.
